AOM Air Ambulance is proud to be among the operators accredited by the European Aero-Medical Institute — one of the most demanding international bodies in aeromedical transport.
AOM Air Ambulance is proud to hold accreditation from the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI) — a distinction that places it among the world's most rigorously audited air medical transport operators.
Founded in 1997, EURAMI is the international body responsible for establishing and verifying quality standards in aeromedical transport. Its accreditation process is widely regarded as the most demanding in the industry, requiring compliance with standards that exceed those mandated by aviation and medical regulators in most jurisdictions.
The initial EURAMI audit of AOM covered all aspects of its air ambulance operation: the qualifications and ongoing training of medical personnel, the configuration and maintenance of medical equipment aboard each aircraft, case documentation and quality reporting, operational procedures for handover and patient transfer, and the management systems that oversee continuous improvement.
For medical assistance companies, travel insurers, and referring physicians, an operator's EURAMI status is the most reliable proxy for clinical and operational quality. It means that when AOM accepts a case, the patient will receive hospital-grade intensive care throughout the entire transport — not a lesser standard adapted for the constraints of an aircraft.
