Air Ocean Maroc organised a dedicated training day for its medical team under the theme of safety and security in air medical transport.
On December 2, 2025, Air Ocean Maroc organised a full-day training session for its air ambulance medical team, focused on the twin pillars of safety and security in aeromedical operations.
The training programme covered a broad curriculum: crew resource management in high-stress clinical scenarios, aircraft-specific emergency protocols, infectious disease precautions including HCID procedures, and the legal and regulatory framework governing air medical transport in Moroccan and international airspace.
Facilitated by AOM's senior operational managers alongside external aviation medicine specialists, the session combined classroom instruction with practical simulation exercises. Participants practised patient loading and unloading procedures, equipment checks under time pressure, and in-flight medical emergency response.
Regular training events of this kind are a cornerstone of AOM's quality management system and a condition of its EURAMI accreditation. By investing continuously in its medical team's skills, AOM ensures that every mission — from routine repatriation to critical care transport — meets the same uncompromising standard of care.
